we know that we have to eat some food so we can still alive and some people spend a lot of money for a good taste food. 

two thousand dollar a pound seems like a lot  to pay for a mushroom. its really does.  Truffles are rare. The white ones are only available a couple of months of the year, almost exclusively from one part of Italy, where they must be foraged by special pigs, and there are fewer of them, and of lesser quality, every year. They are, in short, the perfect luxury commodity, precious and getting more so all the time. Whether they are worth the money has a lot to do with how you like to spend and why you go to dinner. Which makes them very interesting. 

Truffles are expensive items, but none as dear as the Italian white alba version. These items have become difficult to cultivate, thus explaining the exorbitant price. A huge white alba truffle that came in at around 1.51 kilograms was once sold for over $160,000. A retail investor from Hong Kong and his wife brought home the truffle.

 amazing right? i never tasted this trufflw before but i hope someday i will go to italy and taste it! but if my mom let me spend the money for that! its will be amazing haha.  so thats it abouf expensive food around the world!
